Returns and Refunds Policy

This policy forms part of the terms and conditions of sale between Golf Trolley Repairs U.K. Ltd and the purchaser in respect of electric golf trolleys, electric golf buggies, and spare parts purchased through our website.


By placing an order with us, the customer accepts and agrees to the following terms.

1. General Principles

  1. We are committed to complying with all applicable United Kingdom consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  2. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

2. Conditions for Return

  1. A return will only be considered where:
    1. the goods are not as described,
    2. the goods are faulty, or
    3. the goods otherwise fail to comply with United Kingdom consumer law.
  2. Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all components, manuals, accessories, and documentation.
  3. Goods must not have been removed from packaging and used, save insofar as is reasonably necessary to inspect the item as one would in a retail environment. If a trolley, buggy, or part has been fitted, installed, or used in operation, it shall be deemed used and is not eligible for refund, unless found to be defective upon inspection as set out in section four below.

3. Exclusions

  1. We do not accept returns in the following circumstances:
  1. where the customer has changed their mind;
  2. where the item has been used, fitted, or installed, and is not faulty;
  3. where the item has been damaged by misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorised modification;
  4. where the customer has failed to follow the manufacturer instructions for assembly, operation, charging, maintenance, or storage.

4. Inspection of Returned Goods

  1. In all cases where a product is claimed to be faulty, the customer must first return the goods to us at their own cost for inspection.
  2. Upon receipt, we will conduct a thorough inspection and functional test.
  3. If the goods are confirmed to be faulty or misdescribed, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered in accordance with United Kingdom consumer law.
  4. If the goods are found to be working correctly and no fault is identified, the product will be returned to the customer without refund, and the customer shall be responsible for the costs of return carriage.

5. Returns Procedure

  1. The customer must notify us of any claim for return within fourteen calendar days of receipt of the goods, providing full details of the alleged defect or misdescription.
  2. Upon receipt of a return request, we will provide the customer with written authorisation and instructions for return. Goods returned without authorisation may not be accepted.
  3. The customer must ensure the goods are securely packaged for return. We shall not be liable for damage or loss arising from inadequate packaging or unauthorised couriers.

6. Refunds

  1. Where a refund is approved, it shall be made within fourteen days of completion of inspection and acceptance of the return.
  2. Refunds will be made by the original method of payment only.
  3. Any deductions permitted under consumer law, including reductions for diminished value arising from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, may be applied.

7. Governing Law

  1. This Returns and Refunds Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  2. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
