We must inform customers that Grasshopper, the original manufacturer of this product, entered insolvency one year ago.
At Golf Trolley Repairs, we have continued to sell parts for, and to repair, Grasshopper products. We have now gone further by introducing a new version of the product, which we market under the name Grasshopper Buggies. The new model, designated the GH205, represents a significant evolution of the original design. Orders for the GH2025 will be accepted from 1 July 2025.
This latest model has been developed with manufacturing processes more akin to those employed in the modern motor industry. It features entirely updated electronics and true suspension, whilst retaining the look and feel that made the original so popular.
With regard to spare parts, we have secured supply lines for some of the principal components, including motors and gearboxes, which were originally manufactured in the United Kingdom by Parvalux for broader industrial applications. While we can still source certain parts, availability may be intermittent.
For customers who have experienced electrical problems with existing units, we now offer a conversion kit. This can be fitted directly and replaces the original wiring system with a completely different controller, thereby resolving many of the recurring issues associated with the former design.

Call Out Service & Charges
- We offer an on site service for your grass hopper buggy. To do this we will have to have access to a flat surface (preferably undercover) with access to 240V electric power.
- We are the same as Grass Hopper in charging a £1 per mile call out rate, once there we charge a £293.00 +vat for a services plus parts or £75 +Vat hourly rate.
- We only use genuine parts supplied by Grass Hopper.
- Alternatively, you can bring your buggy to us at repair centre in Crowborough, East Sussex saving call out charge.
- We can also pick up & deliver back your buggy if needed with fixed charge of £100 per trip.
